Steve Harris has been in the business community for 30 years. In his various capacities he has been deeply involved in managing the continuity of virtually every project with which he has been involved. He was the manager in charge of implementing a major name change for a major regional savings bank that covered the southwest United States from Arizona throughout Texas. This encompassed developing the program and providing the training for over 500 employees in four states.
Additionally, he was an integral part of a team of department heads responsible for developing and implementing the entire plan regarding the installation of a state-of-the art, brand new, publishing plant that that printed and distributed literally millions of newspapers for the major daily newspaper in Arizona. The tasks included not only writing the continuity plans but training the people inside the company as to how the new policies and procedures would work and what their specific responsibilities were.
Additionally he was responsible for joining a fledging team in an early Internet company the eventually sold to Global Crossing. The initial team was seven people with revenues of $500,000 per year to a team of 200 people and revenues of 20 million. The tremendous growth created its own set challenges and there was constant pressure to stay ahead of the business curve in terms of being flexible enough to respond to a rapidly changing market, customer service requirements, technology requirements and expandability to a rapidly expanding market as well as finding, training and communicating the market dynamics to the workforce and customers.
In another capacity, he worked with other emerging technology companies to assist them in bringing continuity to their particular business model and work with them as the model changed due to market conditions.
For the last six years he has worked in assisting clients in asset loss mitigation.
